We were far from the first people to think about following Lawson, and though Lawson's route was largely understood before the Lawson Trek, the people who had studied most deeply were able to guide this journey so that it very closely approximated Lawson's actual route. On this map some of the placemarkers are still little more than placeholders, though many others have information. Some tell you facts about Lawson as we understand him; others give you information about the Lawson Trek retrace. Over the next weeks, this map should approach completion.
